Update : It seems Gp was not rejected but simply HR person who was handling case went on leave and he got email from google againÂ
Recently Gp was rejected by google (no doubt as he has no phd !!) looks like they didnt even bother to reply the status , he was bit depressed about it was fist time when he was actually rejected by any company …(as we are all part timers , free pursue until we our product hit a good ROI) , depressed (though he did tried his best to hide it ) to cheer him up i reminded him of his existing fat paying job and the fact that he is talented enough to write his own search engine … and that we must work good karma and only thing important is we love our work .
Looks like google has made incredible amount money by content sensitive online add called addsense . Our p2p search engine will also focus on content sensitive online adds but will distribute bigger part of profit to content publishers.
Well I guess that really cheered him and our next product will opensource (lgpl) p2p search engine
following will major benefits over google or any other search engine
- Will Index any content on disk as configured(images, mp3, text, ms docs , pdf etc )
- No need to run web server. You got desktop connected to internet and want share your docs not an issue !!
- No need to wait for days /months crawler to show up in search engine . almost instant indexing
- Complete granular control over content . Want assign password to particular content !!or search to show to particular subnet or group of people and set content expiry date its all possible
- No need to fear that you will monitored by big Apple or your govt and data resides with you !! you are in complete control !!
- Ranking on basis of Crosslink Rank and Human Rank (as per feedback given by users ) and on some other stats
